Sarah Blake is a conflict strategist and director with over 25 years of experience working across a broad spectrum of conflict from the bush to the board room.

As a second-generation mediator with 25 years of experience, Sarah helps clients navigate complex decision-making during times of confusion, conflict and crisis. High conflict, cross-border and cultural disputes are increasingly impacting government and commercial sectors and Sarah’s expertise in these areas is industry unique. Sarah has worked in some of the most complex situations across remote Australia and into the Pacific and works within corporate, university and not for profit sectors. With a focus on negotiated process, Sarah has designed and delivered bespoke conflict intervention programs and training with clients including World Bank, BHP, Australian Federal Police, Land Councils and national, state and local government.

Sarah has delivered talks across 9 countries and regularly contributes to industry advisory boards and professional development. She is an accredited mediator with Resolution Institute and International Mediation Institute and was recently appointed the Australian Ambassador for Mediate Guru. Sarah also brings a wealth of governance experience through the provision of conflict intervention and training for Boards in governance functionality and has served on numerous not for profit boards including Resolution Institute and Bendigo Bank Rockingham. Awards received include ENE Business Innovator 2019, Regional Business Awards Winner 2018, Winner of Resolution Institutes Michael Klug Award 2018 and Young Mediator of the Year, Australian Disputes Centre 2016. She is also a best-selling author and regular contributor to media across Australia.
